1001XX before and after a wash; both in full sun. Blew out the crotch scooting around on my ass while pulling up carpet and staples. I was able to sew that up well enough. Then the knee wore through when working in the yard. Will need to attend to that before it grows too much. Fades update on my One Yofukuten OA02-1017. Duration: 1 year and a half. Actual wear, around 9 months or more. 2 hand washes 8 machine washes (first with warehouse's detergent and lately with Superstitch laundry detergent which is quite aggressive and lighten them up). As with all my denim, the yoke's stitching got destroyed rather quickly. Repaired the whole with hand backstitch with waxed yellow linen thread that are also fading with washes. How awesome! I'm still in love. The contrasts are less important in person. Photos taken under the noon sun!

looking good @unders fwiw I guess we should be thankful this hasn't escalated further... last time I asked a navy seal about their shoes I got this reply: What the welt did you just welting say about my shoes, you little sufu-memblet? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the shoe construction, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on [other denim forums], and I have over 300 confirmed likes. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top shiner in the sartorial forum footwear forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will condition your uppers with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my lacing words. You think you can get away with asking questions over the Internet? Think again, memblet. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the extreme krumping footwear universe and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes clean the pathetic little thing you call your shoe collection. You're so weekend, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can wear shoes over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare feet. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed slip-ons, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Shoes Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable chukkas off the face of the continent, you little quasi-enthusiast-wipe. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your veldtschoen's tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will wear footwear all over you and you will drown in it. You're welcome, kiddo.

One of the few ways to enjoy denim in the summer: loose and cropped (faded would be a nice touch)

Bought a few pieces off yahoo auctions , used zen and they were great , took a little while but what can you expect with the world the way it is Got another colour in the lock hood sweat ( have the navy ) , this grey one is a little different though .... apart from the obvious Nice contrasting overlock stitching on the hood The ribbing is super soft Really liked the other freedom sleeve sweats I got from warehouse so this was a no brainer when I seen the felt lettering Havent got a flannel and it may be a nice change from my usual sweat/chambray getup..... the wife wont even recognize me Nothing special but it's nice and heavy for the colder weather

I think these have the oxidised denim - they're definitely 1000x anyway (Warehouse naming ) They're Blue in Green D5. The colour isn't totally true (its a funny light in the rain here) - but close. 1 of my favourite denims - looks luvely

Back in the museum today to reacquaint myself with the photographs I have been writing about for the past six months... I'll be organizing a show around them set to open in January, although it seems that the exhibition will have to live online (so maybe you all can experience it). These platinum and carbon prints were made by a resident of Jersey City at the turn of the twentieth century. Most of them are toned with a pigment and mounted on decorative boards. In these works, atmosphere and painterliness are the predominate aesthetic concerns, and my phone photographs do not do them justice. Truly one of a kind objects in the pictorialist tradition.
