  1. Envious of you lot that can wear denim jackets in June! These spent about 8 hours in the Texas sun (chilly day here, only 91 F / ~32 C) and they're bone dry now. Starting to see a little marbling pop up. They'll go back on the legs tomorrow.

  4. Great page of nicely fading jeans... well done gents!! Clearly I'm ages behind... as I whimsically flit across my jeans rail... I think my best chance is if you all burn out through overwear and overwashing leaving only threads in June 2026

  7. Took my kid suit shopping today.. due to my.. let's say 'buying habbits' .. i was expecting a £600-800 touch, i was amazed how cheap a reasonable quality suit is.. Calvin Klein silk tie aside, all this came to less than £300 from Next.. Having never owned a suit myself, at 15.. he's allready a more rounded human being I'm just cooking some Piri-Piri chicken on the old Petromax None of these cats are ours.. they're Lenny's new friends from across the road ..all the gang in our living room SC-47s Chucked some clover and a handfull of wildflower seeds down this year

  8. A little bit different kind of Saturday ride than what @Double 0 Soul does - long and slow family ride. My kids are probably 20 pounds bigger than they were last year, the hills are getting really tough! One of the four lakes we rode along (this is the Great one). And a stop at our favorite playground.

  9. Just reorganizing all my FW ephemera, they had largely been left disorganized but loosely grouped by sub label. Largest count of the lot are the Power Wear items (tees, sweats, etc.) followed by Union Special and Great Lakes. Didn't have the wherewithal to get a total count, but maybe one day. I did take note that my oldest item is from 2013.

  14. This page is out of control. Excellent stuff everyone. My dad and I got the chance to embarrass each other last week at my local hole in the wall where my friends/castmates run a weekly jam. Black and white spy shots by my platonic gal pal Melissa. Embroidered Denim vest 90s Cash Rob Kap belt buckle Mister Freedom Outlaw Dad-ception. He sang 50 year old originals. I sang him Paul Simon's Kodachrome.

  16. Photos always seem lighter than reality with my phone but here are my pair of WH 1915 Belt loop model (1922 501XX) after their 3rd wash. Denim has faded super fast compared to what l'm usually used to but l have had them as part of rotation for nearly 3 years so l guess that's fair. Only a little cotton becoming worn/unravelled at the front pocket openings otherwise they are outstanding imo. Patch is a doppelganger for a vintage one. Love these. Anyway, so the first photo has been Sufu'd cos l had to chop my toes out of the pic, sorry

  18. Class scouse denim there la... I was once out on a night out in Liverpool when I saw the Brookside actors queueing to get into a club... it must have been their party... so I went up with my mate and said 'eh Jimmy lad can we get in with yous'... and I recall, as surely as a long time ago can be sure, he said 'yeah alright, but only you'... I erm made my excuses and left... I once also met Bev in Cream (I think it was a Boxing Night in the early 90s when Farley Jackmaster Funk made a barnstorming appearance), we had a boogie as you do and it turns out she was my mate's cousin... clearly we need to transfer this now to the Nonsense thread The big question though... is Trevor Jordache's chambray still buried under the patio with him Martin?

  24. G3 SDA are different to.the standard SD1.... line. If you refer to Denimio, via the blog post, it links to both the original models and the new revised models. I found the measurements of the new models to be accurate.

  25. Nope. I'll buy used denim on occasion. But processed, no. Idk about "cheating" - I don't like how it wears differently than on ones body and I don't like the fact that it's usually a whole bucket (extra) of environmental ick just to make it look worse than it would. Call me ridiculous but it's enough for me that if a brand offers a used wash it usually starts to sour me on the whole brand a little bit.

  27. Got lucky a couple weeks ago and found this CR07. It was listed without measurements on mercari, but I couldn't pass it up; the first and only one I've seen in months of regular searching, and it's got almost no wear to boot.

  28. Follow up from the small questions thread (and vintage denim thread) - my partner and I both got some new pants today! I got some buzz chinos that I really like, wider than I imagined but still like the fit, and my partner got some nice dark 80s Levi’s. Don’t focus too much on my terrible haircut lol 😛

  35. Damn that’s so sick @Cold Summer!! I just got an old Toyota too, a ‘77 pickup. Took the train out to Montana and drove it back, had absolutely no issues until I blew up the engine last week from not tightening a coolant hose clamp down tightly enough. It’ll be back on the road soon, I hope …

  36. A couple months ago, I got another old car - a 1986 Toyota Cressida. It’s rear wheel drive, powered by a 2.8 L straight six, super comfy, and in amazing condition with 145K miles on the odometer.

  40. Just realized that today marks 2 years since I got these and wow natural indigo is stubborn! Not exact 1873 SDA repro. You can see some minor fading in the crotch and it’s kinda cool how there’s some fading where the back pocket should be. Took em out of the dryer like 5 minutes ago, so they feel real clean. 5 or 6th wash I think.

  41. Few randoms as I clean out the closet: Levi's 519 Premium line, purchased from Levi's Kyoto store in 2006. My first pair worn from raw, loooove the vertical falling on these, really comfortable fabric as well (maybe 10.75 oz.?) Sugarcane 1966 from 2010. Need pictures of the frontside sometime, the whiskering is really ideal for my taste. TCB Contest Jeans: Can't remember when this was, but I really tested the limits on this fabric with washing/drying. Wouldn't do it again as I prefer a more balanced washed/air dry look these days, but it was an interesting experiment. The fabric itself has wild puckering/marbling properties They're really that intense in real life too, really comical 😅
