Today Second Sunrise here in Stockholm hosted their third annual denim market, this year was very special though because Hajime and Ryo from TCB had flown over from Japan and had a little pop-up inside the store. It was just a great honor to meet both of them and have a little chat, such cool and kind guys with a true passion for denim. Hajime was even kind enough to sign my 505s. So thanks to both Second Sunrise and TCB for making it possible for us denim nerds to meet some of the people behind one of the best denim brands right now, it was truly amazing!12 points

At the denim market I went to today I managed to snag these almost new 710s for a great price, I've always wanted to give the 710 another honest try so it felt right to pick them up. The inseam is slightly shorter than what I'm used to but that's the Resolute style I suppose? First impressions are really good, love the lightness and fuzzyness of the denim and they are not quite as slim as I expected the 710 to be. A little bit of Hayashi-style for those who like that!8 points

About 3 months of wear on my pair. Washed and tumble dried them probably 5 or 6 times. I think this fabric really lends itself to the heavily marbled look. The subtle slub is nice too. I really like what's going on with the back left pocket. The fly closeup is the most accurate for the shade of black that they're at.3 points

I made a video where I cover 7 pairs of Acronym pants and 4 pairs of Nike ACG pants from the era where Errolson Hugh was collaborating with them. This has by far been the most detailed video I've ever put together. Acronym wise I cover the pants P30A-DS, P10-E, SP29-M, P39-M, P23A-DS, SP29K-M and P53-WS. ACG wise I cover the pants ACG Cargo Trousers Blue, ACG Cargo Shorts, ACG Cargo Trousers Black, and ACG Deploy Cargo Trousers One thing I always miss from newer Acronym pants is how the phone pockets lack extra webbing to wrap over the top of a phone, this is something that was seen on their pants pre 2022 and is for some reason missing today.2 points

If it’s just the forearms that are the issue, going up a collar size isn’t going to fix much1 point

Has the forum been loading extra slow for anyone else lately? Noticing it on both my phone and laptop.1 point

Did a search and didn't get any hits so pretty sure this hasnt been brought up for discussion before... Looks like MSCHF is doing a collab release with acr... Not really feeling these myself, but have a look and see for yourselves.. like a bizzaro version of the AF1's, done in MSCHF's typical wavy style. https://mschf.com/shop/super-normal-2-acronym-ag1 point

Today is his birthday so my brother finally got to see and try on the jeans. He said it's the best gift I've given him yet. I learned a couple weeks ago how a yoke is actually supposed to work, so there's a bit of bunching on the yoke that I wish they didn't have, but he doesn't care. I treated it like a single dart on the center back seam and did not put a curve in the pattern where it attached to the back panels. Lesson learned, and it also explains why the yoke on my pair is a little off too. Next pair will be better, and I'm already thinking about what I wanna do. He thinks the flaws are charming though, so he's happy. (Dorky shirt tuck was just to show the fit of the jeans)1 point

I made a detailed review of the 3A-1-CR. I've wanted a 3A-1 for about a decade and since I own three interops jackets I knew I'd have to face that insane price point at some point in my life, so here I am!1 point
