  7. @yung_flynn If you really want good advice, call up one of the brands. I know White’s has fitted people in your situation for decades, and I’m sure Nick’s and the others would be able to as well. They (the PNW brands) have a variety of lasts including those with less arch support. Give them a call and see—they are generally good people to work with.

  10. Nah, an acr communty (("party" lol) doesn't exist and never existed here. I know some old heads/ local retailer's guys, never heard and interact with "all the people from acr party" and with a rude illiterate stranger from there. So, ur words r surreal. If u r talking about the party of a tight skinny pants lovers, then I've never been a member & didn’t associate with anyone there = their opinion means nothing tbh : ) But, mostlikely, u're that seller of a fake acr/scammer from our local marketplace, who got a massive butthurt after my public callout, the same one you received after the funny picture. This is one and only conflict in my hometown. The rest r only pos reps.

  19. I’ve heard plenty of success stories of folks w/ low arches trying the 55 last (or similar) and finding it more comfortable than they ever expected—but if wearing orthotics that don’t conform to your natural foot shape feels unnatural to you, it’s not clear why wearing boots built to be shaped like orthotics should be any different

  31. Some fit pics on my Cats Drive pair, for illustration of the fit on a different body type. I put them on again today to find that actually, they're not so uncomfortable and maybe I will put some time into them - the fabric is already softening and I imagine will become very comfortable over time. I actually did the same thing, I compared the size charts beforehand to my DD-1001XX (1947) (essentially my North star fit-preference wise, granted the waist is a bit big for me, but overall as yet unbeatable) - and the comparison of the measurements I need to know about looks like this: DD1001XX (34) // TCB Cat's Drive (32) Waist (flat): 42cm // 40cm Front Rise: 31cm // 32cm Thigh (my KEY measurement): 31cm // 31cm Hem width (at unhemmed inseam length): 21.5cm // 20cm Given that, I imagined I was going to be in for a spacious pair - as you can see - I was indeed not! As mentioned above it was truly a lesson in a set of measurements not giving the full picture. It wasn't the fit I was after, but maybe I'll get along with it anyway! They certainly won't be getting my usual treatment of regular wash and dries.

It’s a vintage Rugged Wear rugby from the 80s or 90s with big Rubber buttons that reminds me of vintage climbing rugbies. Chinos are Buzz WW2 (complete 180 from the TCB pair I wore yesterday in terms of fit). Shoes are Rancourt ranger Mocs

  36. Cross-post from WAYWT. I've always thought Stevenson jeans looked really cool but I feel like their sewing and design details really lend themselves well to pants like these. I feel this is one of the best-fitting pairs of pants I've worn, of any type. The waist is maybe an inch or so loose, but nothing a belt can't fix.

  44. Do you live in Moscow. And all the people in Acronym’s party say that you are like this: a petty, vile, nasty, envious person. Without conscience and principles. Live with it! And let others see and know this.

  45. You can continue to fantasize about this topic as much as you like. I was just convinced of the words about you: petty, vile, nasty, envious person. Without conscience and principles. I don’t understand how anyone can communicate with such a rotten and toxic person like you. And I am not associated with any clothing sellers, especially counterfeit ones, apparently you have no other arguments to explain why the people of the Acr community in our city consider you a piece of shit. Nothing more to add. Let everyone know the truth of who you are. Live with it.
