  1. Today
  2. @calvinasincalvin I had a look in my files for sizing but no joy... you might (stress on the might) find some if you page through this thread. IIRC they're sanforized (?) and do shrink a little but much less than non sanforized. You have to wash them at some point (presumably) so you could try cold to begin with and then edge up the temperature based on how much more you need to shrink them. Good luck and keep us posted!
  3. I think this design is a lot more understated and not flashy at all. I used to exclusively think of Rick Owens from the goth-ninja perspective. Guys like this.
  4. Selling a black j68pl large with hood 9.5/10 full kit - $850 shipped obo
  5. Nodding with @chicote on the jeans measurements... also the jacket dress length is 65 which is too long for me (not sure why they go 'modern' on jackets)... not that I was in the market, but if I was...
  6. Bump. J77-AM size M, 9.5/10 condition no flaws - 750 EUR. Acronym x Sacai SAC-J2762 Sage Green Bomber size M, 9.9/10 like new condition with tags - 1450 EUR. WTT J55-MP Black size S 9.5/10 condition for size M.
  7. The details aren't quite for me, but I appreciate Hajime's attention to detail and how open he is about the production process. I'm guessing these would be the contest pair, but I also haven't seen any confirmation.
  8. @AlientoyWorkmachine Thanks dude for your supportive and thoughtful response, I appreciate it!
  9. Worst case scenario @Broark, the SE Austin guys can probably build you a small apartment behind the shop...
  10. I really like the one back pocket and overall design details, but am a little disappointed by the stated measurements... a 20cm leg opening in my size sounds ridiculously small (though i know it'll be a little bigger after a hem), and i would have also preferred an extra 2-3cm in the rise. i have several pairs of jeans that all have 28-30cm front rises and don't find that height comfortable or flattering, for me at least. But I am very curious about the denim and would probably still consider a pair if this is indeed the proposed pair TCB wants to use for the contest. Does anyone have any confirmation on whether that's their intention? edit: i'll add that the most recent viktor's voice collab (good luck jeans) are much more up my alley. i would love to do a contest with those, lol!

  12. Another new to me pair of vintage Justin's boots.
  13. Based on this I don’t see SE Austin being a good thing for you in any way haha.
  14. @Alec Leamas I still have a hard time dropping off my son but more than a year in I am sure it has been the best thing for him. His socialization skills have wildly improved, his imagination has grown in ways it wouldn't have at home, and most of all, he's been able to learn from more people that are not his two parents and while we do our best and contain multitudes, we cannot show him everything. It gets easier, but it never gets easy. Everyone is different, but in general I think it's quite good for the kids and harder for the parents.
  15. I kinda like 'em. I almost never use 2 back pockets at the same time. For me, that is no way to live life and means I need a shoulder bag. I like the jacket better, but it's too close to my FW '22... My stable has already grown too big, but I can't rule them out totally. Curious to know more about the actual denim I think...
  16. @Maynard Friedman Maybe...just don't tell my wife.
  17. The butt is the clear tell for me on these. The Cats Drive model photos look similar from behind as this pair but those fit super differently on me TTS - far less saggy from behind. i will admit that the no 2 jeans have grown on me with time. I actually think that they would probably fit me very well if I found the right size. Still on the fence though because the single back pocket would make them a bit hard to wear to the office and I’d have to think on whether I could make the suspender buttons + additional belt loops work with my overall style
  18. @MJF9 Very hefty and well made, they feel much more like a shoe / boot as opposed to a sneaker.
  19. @Broark must say they caught my eye too... they look pretty robust?
  20. Something completely out of left field. Swung by the new Self Edge Austin location last weekend for their opening day and picked up a pair of Rick Owens sneakers. If you would've asked me 5 years ago if I would wear Rick Owens I probably would've laughed at you.
  21. Yeah, I’m betting it’s the sizing up multiple sizes that does it. I know some (if not all) of the main staff members photographed are into skate culture and sizing up big time for baggy jeans is definitely a thing!
