Haha, so sorry Maynard. But I'm glad you like them! No it hasn't. We've cut our margins quite a bit so the price will be 229 € for the pre-orders. Thanks for the comparison John! I'm picking up the final sample today, so after I have washed them this weekend I can do some comparisons as well.

So after measuring a bunch of 47s, they do in fact have a marginally higher rise than the 54s. I feel like its the taper on the 54s that give the illusion of a higher rise. Also, it's worth noting that the 47s run small in the waist. So a tagged 33" is actually a 32" and so on. Here are the measurements for both 47 and 54 in size 33 in a 34" leg 1947 1954 Waist 32" 33" Front Rise 12" 11.5" Back Rise 15.5" 16.25" Thigh 12" 12.25" Length 34" 34" Hem 8" 7.5"

I think you summarized my thoughts pretty darn well and thanks for watching the review. Conner's is definitely an exception for me and part of that is due to the fact that out of all the clothing I own, jeans will fall apart the fastest so I don't necessarily want or need perfect construction on a garment that won't last forever. On jackets and boots it's essential for me because I will have them forever in theory. Also, as you said, with CSF it's on purpose. With Viberg, I don't think it is and if it is, they certainly don't say so. I don't like the idea that it's a sign of being made by hand when actual hand made shoes are finished so much better. Plus, I do have much more nicely constructed jeans from people like Roy to bask in the glory of the wonderful construction.

Sizes look good! Only concern is the waste and whether I should size up 1 or 2 from my normal size.

Gonna mull over this till the last minute, but probably gonna stick out of this one. Jeans looking real good though.

Shoes that look better with age...

You sure it was shell cordovan and not "cordovan" leather i.e. the color or calf leather that mimics the shine of cordovan. I ask only because Horween, Shinki, and Clayton supposedly sells theirs at $100+ sq ft. Likewise, there was also a little mix up that Mike from Epaulet had with his Portuguese supplier (wasn't shell cordovan but calf leather called cordovan).

What kind of sneakers are you guys wearing? Might pick up some new 70s for the summer, just wondering if there's anything new or interesting out there that I might've missed.

  19. Very helpful measurements. If they don't shrink then I would need a 34W because those hand measurements are more like a 36W in SC.

I don’t know if his stylist picked it out or if he did but I think still think it’s cool when people who don’t normally wear acr do, especially a piece that you dont see often. Guarantee id still post anyone wearing acrnm on the gram even if someone that i don’t particularly care about sports it cause they are wearing it in their own way. I don’t really care about Oprah Winfrey but if she decided to go to a sporting event in some acrnm jawnz I’d be hyped.
  21. It's a Chinese brand, but the quality is very good. Yes, it's button fly. The model is 608H I believe. On mine (size 34), waist is 36, front rise 12, back rise 16.5, thigh 13, and knee 9.25.

  23. I am not familiar with Bob Dongs denim but it appears to have a decent pricepoint. Is the quality good? They might make good pants for onsite inspections. Is the ‘55 a button fly?

I'm a 34 in TCB and 35 in Ooe. Was thinking getting size 35 but I need to check the measurements and compare.

Regarding waist and rise, here are some comparisons: Denimbridge (36 post wash) / Ooe OA02 (36 stretched) / OrSlow 105 (size 3 after washing/drying): Waist: 34.4" / 34.4" / 34.5" FR: 12.6" / 13.25" / 13.25" BR: 14.6" / 15.25" / 14.5" Relative to the Ooe's, looks like the Denimbridge will have the same waist and slightly lower front and back rises, but not significantly different.

Damn you Bobbo! Those measurements in size 33 look perfect for me and I’m on a ‘no buy’ unless I sell something first ... I have an interesting pair that has just cleared customs (after a week and a half) and is awaiting an additional payment from me. This is to replace the TCB50s I sold. Anyway, you have me thinking now

Bobbo, sounds like you're a 33 in TCB, 35 in Ooe, and 35 in these jeans. I'm a 34 in TCB and 36 in Ooe -- so it sounds like 36. Back rise was my concern since most of the jeans I really like measure over 16" (the BIG way). But I'll remeasure some Ooe's or OrSlow 105's the other way to see where they come out.

Nothing too fancy here folks, but wanted to share a positive experience with getting my RW 2968 reheeled in the UK. Sent them off to The Boot Repair Co - http://www.bootrepaircompany.co.uk/ Very quick turnaround of about a week and a quality like for like replacement. Recommended.
