    Evisu is still loved!

Initially, double hot-soaked X hang-dried for [this] fit. They’ve been cold-washed X machine-dried since, to get a bit more shrinkage.

Happy Jeans - Tcb 20s contest thread

I have no idea how busy/active the Japanese fraction in the other media is/was. I would understand if after the FC issue the contest became lacklustre to some, or if the non-Japanese character of the contest made it less appealing, or that the resulting fades may simply not be good enough. does Ed have an opinion? my offer to ship the pants still stands - TCB could exhibit the pieces and ask their internal team or their customers to vote...

Evisu No.1 Special 2000T tagged 40x32 purchased @Ueno store. Definitely, could’ve rolled with the 38s, but felt that I’m just too old for that SuFu [preferred] fit already Just couldn’t keep them DRY any longer ...

Paco has his own clothes don't worry @Flash. Even has his own Steelers jersey for game day! @mlwdp yeah I got these two things from Seabees. He helped so much with sizing on the MA-1. He sent pictures of a guy wearing the size I was thinking and his height and weight to help with the choice. His English is great, and they don't charge tax. Can't beat it with a stick. I didn't realize the History Preservation one had a different lining though. I got the slimmer, non patch and stencil version of the MA-1 and like it. Easy to get on and off, very warm, good for in the car or truck. Wool collar a touch itchy so need to treat that, only negative so far. The patch jackets they have are cool but I just don't have the stones to wear it in public.

Should have got one for the cat too ..... bound to be nippy

There’s would be nice but due to the lining theirs has and me being in a warmer environment might not work well. For deals, I’ve found that Seabees on rakuten offers Buzz cheaper than other stores such as $100 less on certain jackets. The N-1 they’re selling is almost $100 less than all the other stores including History Preservation. I bought my chambray from them for $70. Seabees seems to be some small store that mostly stocks military surplus clothing as well.

Hi BF i have a pair of 66 from the new line. There are some pics on the previous page. I’m happy with them although don’t have an older pair to compare them with and if I had my time again I would have sized down.

Viberg just released their Japan collection with some really cool shoes, specifically for me this Oxford stands out. But of course they only made up to size 11...or they just sold out that quickly. https://viberg.com/products/145-oxford-wheat-roughout

I like Fremont, Reubens, Holy Mountain, and Cloudburst for breweries. Pine Box is a good general beer bar. I have had good food experiences at Bar del Corso (pizza/Italian,) Stateside (French/Vietnamese, solid brunch), The Shambles (meat and beer,) and Nirmal's (Indian.) I have been meaning to try JuneBaby, Mean Sandwich, and Xi'an Noodles on a visit, but it hasn't worked out yet. There is a sushi place with a chef that trained under the Jiro Dreams of Sushi guy too. There are the obvious tourist stops like Pike Place and the Space Needle that are fine, ideally experienced at not peak hours. Gas Works park is nice if the weather works out in your favor. The music/pop-culture museums are cool if you are interested in those things. It was not for me, but I have a friend who loved the Seattle Underground tour. If you like Twin Peaks and are renting a car, you can check out a lot of the original spots in Snoqualmie not too far away, though I am not sure how much the locals like Twin Peaks visitors.

    What’s a square knot Bobbo?
  26. Admit it, you're doing it for the improved leather jacket weather!

Mostly wear mine with a square knot around the neck. Think it works pretty great and gives a nice accent color to, for instance, jeans and a chambray shirt. When I first met one of the Knickerbocker dudes in Berlin, one of them wore it the same way but with a melange crewneck sweater. Looked pretty neat that way too.
