Not sure what it would mean to be the new snake oil provisions ( I know of the store but never dealt with them), I can say I’ve dealt with S and S and they seem like good folks. Forthcoming with information to my questions, and they took a return with no problem .

    TCB

I bought a pair of Catboy Slims back in December, and they’ve become my go to pair. Unfortunately the crotch stitching seems to be uncharacteristically flimsy. They’re comfortable and not particularly tight in the thighs, yet they’re literally coming apart at the seams. I have pairs of 50s and 60s and haven’t experienced this. Going to have to bring these in for repairs soon.

j78 has been my go to since getting it. it was very easy to wear standalone or with a hoody under no problem. fit is spot on and cuffs/hem are great. only issue for me was that it was only slightly too puffy to fit under some of my shells which made me look somewhat bulky.

I will be wearing it tomorrow with the j1a or another soft shell myself. I will say that it does hug at the bottom snuggly, but not overly. The cuff snaps are better not tightened. I could wear it tightened, just not at my comfort level. The pockets do feel huge and feel similar to that, but not equivalent to the 78. I can feel what E was noting in the variation changes. As for the insulator heft independence, I will try it alone soon, but comparing between the 78 and this solo, I liked the 78 as an independent, when I had tried it(not as snug at the hem). With the hard wear thing, I'm in the same boat, if I bought it for personal use and its pricey, I'm going to wear it as its meant to. The 58 does feel like it doesn't leave too much to layer like a hoodie, but does leave enought for like a button down, flannel maybe, or tee, A sweater seems like overkill with this, but I'll update with experience. Man, I hate the duties($230.41 NYC >:( ). ~Lefty

Can attest to the warmth of the 1.2. I’ve been wearing it all over NYC this past week, usually with just a short sleeve or long sleeve tee underneath, and it’s been more than enough for the 20-35° temps. Seems to breathe okay too, when transitioning from outdoors to subway cars, a simple unbuttoning of the cuffs and loosening of the zippers is enough to air out.

There’s a dedicated thread for fits @ArmandGLA Unless you’re trying to do some type of comparison fit type of thing for the new 58? Which doesn’t explain the poses/sneaker change...

    New Contest Suggestion [Poll]

Gotta bust Warehouse's balls if it means the OG's are coming back.
  23. Happy you got a pair @heyson And what a lovely fit. Although I still have a heavy cuff myself, imo these looks the best with a tiny single cuff. Gotta say these keeps the indigo a lot more than what it looked like when I checked washed fabric samples in Shingo's workshop. Looking forward to see how much you guys will beat these up these coming months! Reckon we will see greatness like the TCB contests that went bonkers after 9-12 months.
