Great group photo Bartles. Which (post-contest) jeans is everyone moving on to next?

    The Flat Head

Huh, I never knew Flat Head did anything with Wesco. They sold some boots for White's and Viberg while I worked there, but that was six years ago.

^ lol! and then ... @Paul T asked where the pair now goes: answer at this end: into the vault (a suitcase in the bottom of a cupboard...) ... lots of wear left, but now a nice step in the line of 'first jean' / 1890 / 1915 / 201 / 1920s... plus a comparison of 50s and 20s fades for jollies... (whatever visual similarity is lost when felt in hand: 50s very solid, 20s very supple...)

  21. Post wash update! This denim is really something else. Also got a new phone, so excited to see how these photos came out. And some more photos from recently, went to a brewery with @longshanks and Selvedge1 on Instagram (don't think he has an account here?)
  22. so done. I soaked them yesterday in warm water cca 40° C after wearing them without initial soak 7 and half weeks. they met first water.... measured before soaking I didn't notice almost any stretch against measurement when they were new. just waist stretched for 1cm. measured today after drying and shrinkage is perceptible. but the denim changed and is much more soft and comfortable. shrinkage worked well and now they sit on me, like a baby's butt on a potty.... some fit pics during the week...

    Belts

Thank you for the good idea! I tried to make it, and I think the result looks pretty good. J&FJ Baker natural roughout bridle leather (australian nut on the inside) finished with a slightly aged nickel-plated brass garrison buckle.
  25. Another wash (third wash) and more crinkles The color is most accurate on the second and third picture.
