I’m debating getting 1001xx in non wash. I’ve tried the one wash version in 34 and it fits well. Should I be looking at 34 in non wash too? Do you know if these washes are done cold, warm or hot?

According to OD, Yes. Those 4 dyed wefts are also 40 th anniversary models. They each represent a different season (blossem dye for spring for instance). Compliments for the G-002! I also prefer straight models with a mid rise. Will post a pic of my D1714. Also not into tapered cuts, i ordered one though. Could not resistent the natural dyed fox cotton in green.

The 44 has changed significally throug the years to slim thighs, hence the waist and pelvis part is still comfortable. My two years old pair in size W30 measures 29cm from the crotch to the leg outseam and 22cm across the knee erea. Hope I could help.

Although only had them a year, Fullcount 1110 pretty much nail it for me. Rise is high enough to be age appropriate for me, fits slim but perfectly proportioned. Shame I discovered them just as FC changed their offerings

    RESOLUTE by hayashi-san!

Anyone have post soak measurements of a size 38 pair? What's the shrinkage on a pair of 710's if I buy raw?

Bobbo, trying to decide between size 35 vs. 36. It looks like 36 based on our Ooe / TCB sizing (36/34 for me vs. 35/33 for you) -- thoughts? My size 36 Ooe's have a waist circumference of just under 35".

I've also ordered a pair! Took the same size as my Ooe 1702XX.

Do any new SC pants come with these buttons? So cool. Like the original cloth patch on the first style 40001 or 41001? I am a SC fan and have bought 6 pair in 8 months but I am of the opinion they are not focusing their energy on the brand like they used to in the archives I see. Hope I am wrong.

Shoes that look better with age...

^I'm with ALB. Once I have also asked to Shinki and Horween (They were the only two cordovan suppliers AFAIK) and they both said over $100 sq.ft depending on the grade (Better cordovan costs x1.5). http://vegtan.blogspot.com/2015/08/horween-part4.html This blog is about the price of cordovan. (Sorry it's in Japanese) The graph says 2 sq.ft costs $202 in Jun 2014 and I'm very sure the current price is higher. So I am also very curious about which tannery sells at 40 euro. Is it really retail price? Have you seen the leather itself? Are there any pictures? Which maker uses that cordovan? And as ALB said before, there are various interpretations about the word "cordovan". This is my cordovan shoes. 1950s Town Shoes from Wolverine It clearly says cordovan. But people can easily says its not cordovan (both upper and outsole). This is the ad from 1956 LIFE magazine. Now and old, cordovan is not always the cordovan like Alden uses, even if horse leather is used.

Hey LVC experts, What's with the slim 1944xx thighs? Is this something they changed on the model? Going through old posts, the thighs don't seem slim like that. I think a size 30 and 31 are a 10" thigh. I'm interested in a pair of 44s, but maybe not if those measurements are correct.

Brown Duck and Digger (Warehouse) 60's Ivy fit - best fit for me. They just work great in every place: moderate rises, not slim thighs, gentle taper, usable pockets. Comfortable to wear and look flattering from aside (at least wife likes the look ). 2nd place will be OOE 02 I think (they a pretty much similar).

I think my current daily jeans (Full Count 1108) probably have the best cut of any jeans I've worn. The only real change I'd make is to make the lower thigh maybe about 0.25" looser, but that's pretty minor.

Frankly speaking without red stripe on the side they would be pretty interesting with a punk vibe (even though fashionable)
