  2. I am not familiar with Bon Dongs denim but it appears to have a decent pricepoint. Is the quality good? They might make good pants for onsite inspections. Is the ‘55 a button fly?

    I'm a 34 in TCB and 35 in Ooe. Was thinking getting size 35 but I need to check the measurements and compare.

    Regarding waist and rise, here are some comparisons: Denimbridge (36 post wash) / Ooe OA02 (36 stretched) / OrSlow 105 (size 3 after washing/drying): Waist: 34.4" / 34.4" / 34.5" FR: 12.6" / 13.25" / 13.25" BR: 14.6" / 15.25" / 14.5" Relative to the Ooe's, looks like the Denimbridge will have the same waist and slightly lower front and back rises, but not significantly different.

    Damn you Bobbo! Those measurements in size 33 look perfect for me and I’m on a ‘no buy’ unless I sell something first ... I have an interesting pair that has just cleared customs (after a week and a half) and is awaiting an additional payment from me. This is to replace the TCB50s I sold. Anyway, you have me thinking now

    Bobbo, sounds like you're a 33 in TCB, 35 in Ooe, and 35 in these jeans. I'm a 34 in TCB and 36 in Ooe -- so it sounds like 36. Back rise was my concern since most of the jeans I really like measure over 16" (the BIG way). But I'll remeasure some Ooe's or OrSlow 105's the other way to see where they come out.

    Shoes that look better with age...

    Nothing too fancy here folks, but wanted to share a positive experience with getting my RW 2968 reheeled in the UK. Sent them off to The Boot Repair Co - http://www.bootrepaircompany.co.uk/ Very quick turnaround of about a week and a quality like for like replacement. Recommended.

    @volvo240thebest Yeah mate, I'm a 33 in TCB. Goes for 20's, 50's and 60's.

    Damn @Bobbo that means i would need a 36. You wear a 35 in these what size you are on tcb? 33?

    Denime

    Yes you are right, it's Shins WW2 model.

    @Hendsch I would go for a 30 if you want a 29 inch waist in the end. The test lot shrank a tad bit more than what the size chart said so the 34's I got ended up a little over 33 inches with max stretch.

    Lol, she'd love that... Hmmmm, going by this I'd need to get a 29 to achieve a true 29 inch waist. So essentially they will stretch to tag size? Gotta start getting the measuring tape out.

    Speaking of Leepros… (No time to post much of a writeup right now, but will plan to do so some time this weekend along with detail shots)

    Thanks a lot! Sounds perfectly reasonble!
  24. @radfad2000 Forget above post. Just saw you want a summer weight denim. The 303 & 304 are 16.25-oz. I still think the Okinawa & Hawaii have a higher waist and loose thigh.
  25. I have found the thighs on my SC Okinawa are quite large but they aren’t a ‘55 cut. I am real happy with the Lot 303 and they have close to a ‘55 cut IMO and Pants Shop Avenue might have your size. Also the Lot 304 (). Naoki is very quick about hand measurements. http://pants-shop-avenue.com/item/SC40304/?mode=pc measurements found at this site: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/bears/item/sugarcane-sc40304/

    Sorry, forgot to answer you on this one! The first sample jeans stretched about 4 cm in the waist. Though I did take one size too small on that pair, haha.

    Very good info, thanks. I'll have to re-measure some of my current jeans later today to confirm, but this seems way more plausible
