I was just about to ask about all this shrinking business. I have mine double cuff pretty wide but only have washed them once with a light machine dry so was curious how much more shrinkage to expect. I wanted to keep the hem by Inoue if at all possible but I feel like Id enjoy them more if they were shorter. Obviously roping will be better if I decide to hem them before I wash them next but I still trying to hold off on that aspect as well but they are getting there for sure. Im going to need to darn and repair these in the future I can tell by the wear especially since I already have some threads ripping.

Just wanted to pop back in and give the measurements after I dipped the memorial jeans (everything but the waist). There should be pretty minimal shrink left in them as they sat for an hour. W: 32 FR:12 BR: 17 LO: 8.5 K: 9.25 I: 34.5 T: 13

I’ve been concerned about this fabled inseam shrinkage. I don’t really want to give any extra up so I think I’m gonna stick to cold hand washes from here on out

Anyone got a grey/blue j28-k in M/L they'd be willing to part with in exchange for an olive j28-k in M?
  14. Yeah Trophy would work due to it being one washed versus dealing with Gangsterville's ridgid with shrinking. Honestly, I would like black denim one washed from Trophy so in order to do that I would have to go through Trophy's site instead of Denimio it Trophy has a black pair. Samurai is raw also. edit: here's Trophy Blackie denim http://trophy.shop-pro.jp/?pid=61080129

I need to re-report after the jeans completely dried. In fact, there was zero shrinkage. All measurements are identical to the pre-soak measurements. Wish I had just worn them as they were.

Anyone here have experience with the Arc’teryx Bora2 Mids?
  21. They run slightly longer than normal (i.e. Vans, New Balance, Adidas), but about the same as Converse. I measure a 9.0 US, and a 8.5 US in these Lofgren's fit well.

Also looking to see if anyone has any experience with Cloudburst Wear. Genuinely curious about the quality of their garments.

Thanks for the recommendation @Iron Horse. I want to give it some TLC so it continues going strong and sees me through this life at least! So I'll give it a clean with saddle soap. I've never used Mustang Paste and have just seen that DC4 sell it - not cheap at 50 Euro a pot but it's good you recommend it and I do like the write up.

I've been measuring meticulously after every wash except the third one, when I was going on vacation and didn't have time. Here are my numbers for a size 30, 79 cm leg. Wash: Pre / 1st / 2nd / 4th Waist: 15.75" (40cm) / 14.75" (37,5cm) / 14.5" (37cm) / 14.5" (37cm) Inseam: 33" (84cm) / 30.5" (78cm) / 30.25" (77cm) / 29.5" (75cm) --- WHOAH! I have all the other measurements too, but they're in the +/- 1" range, nothing extraordinary, and most didn't change this time. I was just thinking a couple of days ago that I should have gone with either 1" longer or 1" shorter inseam since I found it neither here nor there after the previous wash; too long to wear without a turn-up, too short with one. I'll have to see tomorrow when I put them on but they're probably (even) more to my liking now. Note that the washer and dryer that I have access to are of the industrial kind, they probably go a little harder than the regular home appliances that most people use.
