Anyone got any suggestions for a good mid layer / light weight jacket?

I need something to wear underneath shells and outwear once I'm inside. Preferably, slim fitting and no hoodies / fleece.

The Acronym J58 that's coming soon would be perfect but that's out of my price range.

I'm currently wearing my Veilance Quoin pretty much everyday.

I wonder if the only difference of the US version, will be the sizing?

As it's not a straight import it's an US version of that line, titled The Japan Unlimited Series.

On a side note, am I the only one that misses things being hard to get?

can usually grab these for $106.

polartech alpha insulation like that TAD one above and made in USA.

size down one for a trimmer fit. remove the pull tabs (replace with nylon ones if you wish) and you're set.

It's neoprene so not waterproof. Also I have the same sole on other Y-3 shoes and it's worn out after a season of light city wear.

Doesn't it depend on whether it's closed or open cell neoprene? Closed cell is waterproof, like dry suits. However, the seams would have to be sealed as well.

I wish the zippers were hidden, a simple flap or something similar would be fine, but I might have to pick these up.

Came across this brand at Oshmans harajuku and was quite impressed. Really nice blend of tech and city boy vibe. Possible to kop stateside?

I walked past that store loads while I was Tokyo, didn't think to go in, I'll check it out next time.

Not a massive fan of elasticated cuffs and not sure how much I like the look of them but thanks for the shout. I completely forgot about Patagonia and I've seen a couple of other jackets on their website that have caught my eye.

If only these smaller cheaper copy cat brands used the resources they have to design something instead of just copying

EDIT: Just re read this, I was definitely not referring to the above companies as smaller copy cat brands. I was referring to other brands, such as the Chinese featured on the last page and others you see online. My mistake, this was worded poorly

yeah i'm digging the overall look of these but the exposed silver zippers are a bit too gstar to my taste.

edit: looking at the nike.com fit pics these look very erlsnesque with the oversized pocket layout and drapey patterning.

edit 2: drop the fucking acg collection already you fuckers

not sure what are you referencing, there is nothing about the TAD design that screams design–robbery® from another iconic piece/brand. it's just a generic jacket.

ACRNM to a degree copy ( are deeply inspired by ) military gear so, you know....

I re-read my post and I've edited it.

It made it seem like I was referring to the jackets in my post, I wasn't at all.

My bad guys
