It was Felix Jouanneau that did the rebuild - I think he did a great job. I wanted him to do some other boots for me but he became increasingly difficult to tie down a slot and eventually I just gave up - I’m not sure what the issue was. That was primarily the reason I asked Dean @ Yorkshiresole to sort my Lone Wolf; he’s not quite at Felix’s level but he does a tidy job and that was all I needed for those boots.

Starting to think ¥60000 is gonna be the new price going forward ..... glad I've got what I have because that may be me priced out 

Tried my hand at diy waxed flesh for the new red wings. Always found waxed flesh to be more durable and easy to care for than suede/roughout. Also ages great, imo, with polished bits coming through at high wear areas. Did the same to my suede loafers, and I like 'em so much more. 
Now I'm only debatting, if I'll need some kilties or not.
