How many prototype pieces are usually made per season? I've only ever seen the one proto napoleon with the metal attachments, for example. I've never seen protos in public. Is it really just one piece made for runway + ad campaign stuff?

usually there are more prototypes to test out the cutting and different linings etc.

But there is only one runway version. From what I know they have the models name on the inside. They are not the usual prototype we have seen so far.

Also there are more than 1 version of the napoleon prototype from fw03. But I have also only seen one with the waxed lace attached!

advancedart, same here. I have never seen the long cashmere version on any sale/auction site though. The one with the ribbon things attached to the arms. I'm sort of curious as to how much those run at auction on japanese ebay or something.

Yeah his collection is awesome. Never saw so many key pieces. That jacket to the right is also from Luster, a key piece I really really love!

Btw he is genuine, I have dealt with him before, sold and bought items to/from him!

I would cop that napoleon if the price wasnt so insane. I rember it being on ebay in size 48, black version and did NOT!! sell for 2500$ starting price....
