In case you don't know, D&G is now caught up in quite a controversy here in Hong Kong.

It all started when a local newspaper reported that its security guards stopped people from taking pictures outside its flagship store on Canton Road, but apparently the photo ban was not extended to mainland Chinese tourists.

Hundreds and thousands of people gathered outside the store yesterday, armed with cameras, protesting against discrimination against Hong Kong people.

But the company has refused to offer an apology.

Nice food eggplant, making me hungry!

I had to remove both buttons on the back - was starting to scratch my wallet as the pocket opening were a bit tight, and that just won't do!

Anyway, excuse the self-portrait, from this morning on my way to work...

It's my understanding that 2 different categories are represented. Currently, the first two items in the shop are listed as "deadstock" while the LFNYC products are listed as "seconds".

For those interested in picking up the seconds, the biggest factor that makes them seconds is just slub runs.

What would the slub run look like? Strongly considering these and the only size 36 they have are they seconds...

I got my seconds last night. Will do my introduction and start fit pic as soon as I can. I don't see anything undesirable about them. Nothing stands out as to why they are seconds. I would say grab them before they run out.

I am never really blow over by clothing. I like the fabrics used and the details of the things I buy. But I am really liking these. So far I like the tightness in the hips. Its like a low hug all day. Don't mind the deep back pockets. I do think the front pockets are a little shallow. The indigo is crazy on these. I want to go stain some furniture. I have a feeling by the end of the year my car seat is going to be blue.

Hello everybody. My name is Brian. I live in Los Angeles and work as a digital compositor for commercials and films. I have two boys 4 and 2. Some of you might be familiar with them or me from the Roy World Tour. So I hope you like parks and kids.

I went with the indigo seconds. Time will tell if there is any difference in wear between the two. I need to figure out the length on these. I am waiting for one of you guys to wash first so I can find out how much shrinkage there is if any before I hem.

I am in a love affair with music, I am always listening to all sorts of music so I would really love to have a music conversation with all of you guys.

I am a bassist mainly, but I can get around pretty well on a few other instruments.

In addition to my music I also run religiously. Being track season I will most likely post a few things about running and what not.

My favorite Lee Morgan album, hands down. Mr. Kenyatta - Morgan, Shorter and Green are so on point. And I'm a sucker for a groovy rhythm section too.

For the hip hop heads, KMD sampled that track for their Contact Blitt. MF Doom was digging deep even then.

While I have your ears... one of the finest freddie hubbard tracks combined with an epic, all star, kick you in the face lineup. 18 minutes of pure bliss. So epic it needs two parts.

Freddie Hubbard - trumpet * Stanley Turrentine - tenor saxophone * Johnny Hammond - organ/electric piano * George Benson - guitar * Ron Carter - bass * Billy Cobham - drums * Airto Moreira - percussion
