I actually I didn't know the brand until DC4 in Berlin had these in store, and as a lover of high waisted, wide straight legs jeans, which are still hard to find and often at a prices I wouldn't pay, thinking of Fullcount, Dawson or At Last & Co, I was happy to find Oni. Their other cuts are not my thing either.

Since I got my third pair of Oni's today, all three of them wide legged (12oz 202, 20oz 200zr, 15oz 222), I wonder why they aren't more popular here, for the denim is quite nice, they offer a lot of different cuts and the prices are reasonable... I couldn't even find an Oni thread.

Thats a bummer, especially when shops tell you those don't shrink any further for they are pre washed...

while digging in my Ikea Denim boxes I was happy to find accidentally (thought I had sold 'em years ago) the aformentioned "1st Comfort" hemp mix version in pristine condition, so to complete the foto of my collection:

well I think these fit perfect, also lengthwise... especially since the 224 are the 1966 repros, back than in the 60s shorter inseams were common and looked more neatly or preppier.

@jewellben I recently bought myself a pair 30s and wonder if you pair shrank with subsequent washing and why you sell them in the first place? I really like the rough touch of the denim but think they could shrink around the hip since mine suffer from a huge hip flare although I bought em already quite small...

@unders, actually yes, I have three pairs of that 2008 collection which are the bow legs, the insane inseam and a skinny fit. All bought from Ebay though and also unworn, since I just bought them for collectors reasons... do you have any pair from the REDs?

here is my humble collection, I used to sell the "1st comfort" unfortunately few years ago, the one the right below is womens pair... the only thing I refuse wearing them are the exposed back pocket rivets, which come in beautiful gold / brass colour.

so LVC released a limited (of course) pair of 517s, todays price at cultizm is 550,-€ 🫠

the jacket is the so called 1879 pleated blouse, which originally never came blanked lined back in the days. and yes it was a late 90s Valencia street repros. years later LVC dropped a pre distressed version of these... and last year LVC put out a none lined version of it as part of their final LVC collection... btw. some folks here stated LVC is history, but today there was pre announcement on instagram for the 517 bootcut jeans to back end of the week...
