weekend in sardinia

Flying to Alghero Sardinia this weekend for a quick getaway.

Picking up a car at the airport and hoping to see some lovely sites.

It is all a bit last minute and I have not had a chance to look into hotels or where I might want to go. Can anyone recommend any stellar places to visit, or perhaps have some anecdotes to share?

Def check out the grotto (forget the exact name) just outside of Algero - it's amazing

We just cruised around and picked up acc as and when and it worked out brilliantly.

a cool hotel on Sardinia is Hotel La Coluccia. This is where all the "pretty" people stay.
