I am looking for any online information about Tadao Ando's planned mixed use development in Omotesando. Sketches, models, anything - thanks!

well when we made the 3D superfuture omotesando map [which just happens to be on the front wall of this construction site] this was all the info they gave us from which to 'design' a 3D model of the building...not a lot... so we kind of had to guess A LOT. all i know is its going UNDERGROUND as they cannot build higher than the original dojunkai buildings... pretty dreary looking plans actually--though im sure the final building with be spectacular as it's probably the highest profile site location in tokyo.

thanks for the info - exactly what i was looking for.

i had read about the project's 10m-high glass and steel wall that runs along the boulevard, breached once by a grande entranceway to... what? more shops? tiered smoking areas? hm. dreary is right.

i knew there was something i forgot in my original post: the superfuture map on the construction wall is fantastic - great work!
