berlin maps are going to be overhauled. i was there a few months ago... we just havent had time to update...
actually i knew that comme store had moved to karl-marx strasse and i actually went searching for it but that road is seriously the dreariest road on earth [and i gave up after walking for about an hour in superbleak though quite fabulous urban wasteland] heres where i got to.... so was i close?

you were pretty close. one more stop and you would have been there images/icon_smile_wink.gif
btw, is it possible that we met in the store "Trainer" in Mitte? I spoke to someone from Superfuture there a few months ago, when I was there.

thanks for making a berlin map now, i don´t really need it ´cause i live in berlin, but i´m just deeply in love with maps and the way they look..
anyway, you really have to do something about the selection of locations. when was the last time yous checked those?? do you have any idea how lame reingold is?? is there a possibility to redo the list? and reingold is just one example..

I have never been to Berlin but am going to be there in about a month. Looking for places to go shopping. I will do my research but if anyone has places that they frequent while there it would be much appreciated.

I guess I should include what I'm looking for. Basically the Hedi Slimane slim fit look. Since much of his inspiration came from Berlin I figure there must be some good places to check out. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate that. But this is asking more about shopping in Berlin and not so much Jetsetting in Berlin. Since the jetsetting part is taken care of I am looking to spend in Berlin, Why I favor the supershoppers of this place. Take care of that admin power it might be dangerous if used inappropriately.

Superfuture's list (http://superfuture.c...ed.cfm?city=77) is pretty accurate.
Reporter: "What do you think about western civilization?"

there are other topics on berlin, but they are dead threads, and besides, what are you into, etc?
nuremberg is not that close to berlin, it's closer to munich, but it's a lot of fun. but the adidas corporate headquarters is in a tiny town near nuremberg.

word, Berlin is roughly a 4,5 hour ICE ride from Nurnberg. Munchen is about 1.5 hour RE ride from Nurnberg. Nurnberg isn't too bad, but obviously it's no Berlin. Southern (Bavarian) Germany is a diff. style from the North. Def. recommend hitting up Munchen for a taste of the south.
While in Berlin, however, HIGHLY recommend staying at the Circus Hostel (there are two, stay at the one in the Uni District w/the bar). I'll be there for the WC FINAL, baby! Already got the reservations. holla

Besides having the best name for a restaurant/club EVER...
Can anyone give me a "biography" or "run down" of this spot?
I'm heading to Berlin next month.
IT GETS WACKER BY THE SECOND!

that's the old location... the old location used to be a chinese restaraunt, so that's why the font is like that. now it's cleaner and bigger and in an ex-irish pub.
i only have gone there twice, but it's a really nice place, the new place is a lot bigger and i've heard lots of good stories about their late hour parties. most of the people that go there are expats, especially brits, canadians and americans. there's lots of rock stuff going on.
it's run by expats... a nice place to get a good burger too!
