Things to do and see in NYC Sept 9-14

Ciao. Stopping through the apple from Sept. 9-14. Wondering if anyone knows of any unique events going on during these days. I have all the museums/tourist stuff down and of course I have a comprehensive list of shops to hit thanks to Superfuture.

Any shops/events one wouldn't know about by searshing through SF? Thanks for the help.
