Ukeno - echoing what Aho said, that fit looks perfect as it is and I'm sure that's the intended shape of the cut. Really has a classic feel to it. Only thing I would suggest is another roll of the cuff or taking a off at the hem so there is not so much break and you don't get that ''ankle-flare''.

I bought a pair of one-wash TCB 50s for my dad's birthday in late December and they just arrived. After trying them on, he couldn't do more than two buttons up the fly. The waist (size 32) measures 77cm, which is considerably less than the 82cm I've seen advertised around. In fact, they fit me more or less perfectly in the waist, and I'm used to wearing size 29 jeans. Is this common with TCB?

They shrink from tagged size, but will stretch back pretty quickly

Not sure if you guys follow fortyniners on instagram, but this is why I'm fiending for the upcoming 1946 Miura-san collaboration pair:

Attention to detail is admirable, the fabric as well has great character (better pictures on insta). I'm hoping the oz. will be period accurate as well as the 1947 409xx were too much for my taste (16oz) but I'm not sure I'll care once the finished product is released!

Also peep this video they posted from last year:

I got to say, I am a sucker for patches and that one is amazing. Love the simplicity, and how classic it looks. Mind linking instagram?

Wish I had patience to sit through whole video, but skimming through it and I love this. Would be cool to see videos like this from others.

Edit: pretty blown away that he went from zero to finished in 2 hours. Must take a few pairs to get to that level of efficiency

Ed these are a 46 cut, very similar to WWII fit:

They're based on the same pair owned by Yawara Miura which the Devis were based on so they'll be similar! Except this time everything will be produced by Conners Sewing Factory in house (Fortyniners brand) and they look to be yet another perfect repro status type pair in my opinion!

another thing i love about double volante jeans (also present on my champloos) is that the backpockets are perfect mirror image of each other. seems like kuniyoshi cuts two different patterns for the left and right backpockets instead of just one pattern for both (as you can see on the 2nd denimbridge version). he also sews them so the stitching mirrors each other too. <3 <3 <3.

Anyone planning on picking up the Denim Bridge 3rd lot?

Looks like size charts are up for post wash and they'll be online in the next few days.

Measurements: http://denimbridge.jp/2015/02/19/4303

And some more photos: http://denimbridge.jp/2015/02/19/4248

I'm not sure I could pull off a rise that low (10.6 in on the size 36...) but they are tempting at that price.
