- Featuring excerpts from 'History Of The World', a poem by Peter De Potter.  Six stanzas were selected by Raf Simons for various prints in the Spring/Summer Collection of the same name.

Raf Simons x Eastpak Oversized Backpack From The Spring/Summer 2008 Collection Entitled 'Material World' in Yellow/Black, One size 

 

- Colour variation of runway piece
- Inspired by the Dutch artistic movement 'De Stijl' of the early 1900s (also known as Neo-Plasticism), which focused on the reduction of art to the essentials of form and colour.  Only primary colours were used, along with black, grey and white.  
- Based on the structure of a hiking backpack
- One main compartment and smaller compartments on the front and sides
- All compartments sealed with concealed drawstrings under flap closures
