Gotta give another shout out to Danny and Junior. I emailed Danny back and forth a few times about sizing the IHSH-107, and received multiple responses instantly. They measured a few of the same item to find one that should be perfect for me. Thanks again guys!

The iconic piece of the season from Indigofera has to be The Gunpowder Selvedge Ranch Jacket. It uses the popular 14 oz. denim  dyed black from the constituent part of gunpowder itself: salpeter and charcoal. The sherpa lining harks back to an era of Trucker Jackets from the 60s/70s and is sure to keep you warm on the coldest of days.

James is 188 cm tall and weighs 83 kg. He is wearing a medium jacket.

The same Gunpowder selvedge is used in the Gunnar Vest collaboration with Burg Und Schild. This is a Type 111 style vest with Japanese blanket lined pocket flaps and Indigofera logo'd copper snap buttons.

James wears a medium vest (together with a large Iron Heart IHSH-107 Red)

The

Mister Freedom

Sportsman Shirt Indigo Métisse is a fabric rich in texture and deep in colour. It consists of a 9.7 oz. indigo dyed twill blend, 70% cotton and 30% linen.

The yarn core is white, the indigo outer has a purple blue shade typical of early French indigo work clothes. This shirt will fade with wear.

Unsanforized, it will shrink 0.5" overall in the chest and 0.75" in length.

The Lot 64 "Californian" Okinawa Jean is a 14 oz. left-hand twill indigo denim with white and green line selvedge ID. Milled in Japan on narrow shuttle looms, from a blend of 50% Okinawa recycled sugar cane fibers and 50% cotton.

The denim harks back to the vintage 1950s era whilst the cut with its medium rise and slight taper is a nod to the 1960s. Mister Freedom admits he has gone Beatnik with this creation. The details that have gone into creating this jean are what you expect from MF from the flat black-painted 13 star front button, the camo pocket bags, to the drab olive colour constructional stitching.

Our first collaborative jean has landed from Japan.

The IHXRH-666s combines the slim tapered 666 Devil's Fit with Iron Heart's signature 21 oz. denim.

The leather patch with both logos celebrates us opening the store in central London this year.

The arcuates on the back pockets use indigo dyed thread which will fade with wear.

Like any jean using this super soft and wearable sanforized denim you need to size snugly in the waist as it stretches out by a good 1.5" with wear. Available in sizes 28-40.

Delving deep into the past and deconstructing garments from as early as the 1880s for inspiration, Stevenson Overall Co reinvents classic pieces for the 21st Century. We just introduced this truly impressive brand to the store.

The denim is crafted using the same single-stitch, flat felled seam method, originally applied to denim production during the 1920s. The fabrics of the entire collection never fail to impress for their beauty and quality and are amongst finest in true Japanese tradition. The brand started out in Indiana in the 1920s and was relaunched in 2005 by Atsu Tagaya providing the best outlet for his talent as a designer and love of vintage denim and work wear.

The jeans and  Engineer denim jacket use long staple Zimbabwe cotton. The jacket is an original design from the turn of the century by Stevenson Overall Company.

The front yoke overlapping the chest pocket and  back buckle connecting to the front pockets are a late Victorian style. All stitching is impressively executed with a single stitch flat felled seam.

This Palm Beach Indigo Vest reveals so much about the quality and attention to detail inherent in all Stevenson garments.
The outer shell of of the waistcoat comprises of 100% cotton Jacquard stitch fabric. The uneven texture and indigo-dyed yarns will result in a fading evolution with time and wear.

The t shirts and hooded sweat shirt are both loopwheeled. This weaving method and the long staple cotton create a luxuriously soft fabric.

Already Stevenson Overall Co feels very much at home here.

As well as restocking the regular long sleeve indigo t shirts from Pure Blue Japan we have just received a new thicker version. It is a knit fabric dyed in indigo. Full of texture and 100% cotton. They feel more like sweatshirts than tees.

A customer bought the Pure Blue Japan X012 deep indigo jeans from us at the end of July this year. He is a professional gardener and has worn them to work since purchasing washing them roughly every 3 weeks. We took a photo of them against a new pair.

Hi Danny, just sorting out my next intended acquisitions... Still on for the 3sixteen kibata selvedge? Also rumour has it you may be getting the indigo heavyweight t shirts from 3sixteen too, any truth to this? If so with or without pocket?

Ps congrats on the IH collab - looks amazing (love that patch). Might have to try a pair next time I'm on the manor!

Still on for the Kibata 100x and 120x. Looks like these will drop after Christmas.

The indigo heavyweight tees should arrive this month along with some restocks, stadium jackets and shadow selvedge/double black denim jackets.

UES scored a big hit last year introducing larger sizes in their winter flannels. The 2014 versions have arrived this week.

They are are regular/slim fit, feature acorn pockets, ivory palm nut buttons, and a brushed lining for warmth.

They are 100% cotton selvedge fabric and have been washed once so will not shrink any further.

  • 2 weeks later...

  COMING UP

Due to the many messages with regard to shirts, jeans, and jackets coming into stock here is a quick review of what's about to drop in the coming days and weeks.

The Iron Heart 32 oz. dark navy Melton Wool Pea Coat arrived today at the store. It will be online tomorrow.

The Iron Heart Olive N1 Deck Jacket with extra long Alpaca lining with us next week.

We just restocked the Iron Heart super slim 555 jean.

http://rivetandhide.com/brands/iron-heart/ih-555-01-slim-selvedge-jean.html

By the end of the week we will have the long awaited 3sixteen Shadow Selvedge and Double Black denim Trucker Jackets , along with the new style 77 selvedge denim jeans for women, indigo-dyed twin pack t shirts,  and a comprehensive restock of existing jeans.

Next month we will get a restock of the 3sixteen black stadium jackets and the 2014 olive version.

Next month also we receive The Flat Head HN-52W work shirt & HNW-52W Western flannels in all 2014 colours. The delay to these is due to the fact I requested the same dimensions as previous years. In the Japanese market these flannels got significantly shorter which just would not work for our customers. So our order was specially made. Hang on in there if you love FH flannels. You won't be disappointed. The colours and fabric are both killer.

Next month also we get a restock of the Pure Blue Japan indigo knit hoodies and sweat shirts with Raglan sleeves. They were the fastest selling items we've ever had.
