TENRYO jeans

Tenryo is the same people that're behind The Strike Gold. Saw them in a store here in Oz, they're good quality but pretty gimmicky. i think they just got carried away after making the Strike Gold 21xx series.

These look pretty cool, I'd be willing to give the blues a shot for sure, anyone know if the pricing is legit? 230 for the colored or 200 for the regular line seem like a sick deal if they are made by the same people as strike gold!

Yes,, these jeans are made from the same man with The strike gold..

They made these jeans for Their national market, Japan.. And the strike gold is for worldwide market..

I have one of those, TDP005 the blue weft.. i Really love this one because the color is not as bright as the photo actually. I love 3 colors of 5, Blue, black and green.. They remind me of Samurai Element, but in cheaper price.. The fit is very similar to their 05 cut, 1105 especially, slim straight, their favorite cut as i know..

I really love their constructions (how they combine the color and thickness of the yarns), the very soft hand feel of the fabric, the Tenryo sign at the backpocket and the color of the jeans at most (you can see the mixture of the dark blue from the warp and the lighter blue from the weft)..

If i have enough time, i will take photo of mine, so you can know about this more..

Hope this help.. Thanks.

Most of the white you see on the right side of the denim fabric (outside) is the white core (due to abrasion) of the indigo warp yarns - not the dyed weft yarns...

Depending on the dyestuff and technique used on the weft yarns I wouldn't be surprised if they are also not dyed to the core.

Finally got my green weft. Got hit with customs that were 3rd of the jeans cost!

They fit well, although they are lot longer in length than I am used to, so the fold up at the bottom is big, but I guess that's the fashion.

I really love the outside colour of the jeans, although i am unsure about what it will look like with fades, maybe will be too light a shade of green.

Thought I would provide update on these jeans.

Just to be on safe side, I went for a bigger size. As these are sanforized, after the first wash, there was not much shrinkage. And after a bit of wear, have stretched back out. I have to wear a belt otherwise they feel a bit loose, but I have no problem with that as I always wear belt with my jeans. The fitting is ok. Feels bit more roomy than other slim straight fits I have tried.

I have washed them about 3 or 4 times, and the colour is still as rich as the day I got them. I have not seen any noticeable fading at all, but I have not worn them too much. I have worn mostly once a week, with a few week periods of heavy wear. When (or if) I start seeing fading, I will post pictures

Overall these jeans are good quality and comfortable. I also love the colour. It is nice option to have to pair with green shirts.
