Red Cloud & Co. jeans

Here are some pictures of my R400H with right around six and a half months of wear, just out of their seventh wash.

They're practically at the same age as DhaDha's R400 a few posts up, but our differing wash frequencies (plus the fact that he wore his a lot harder than me) created totally different wear patterns! Red Cloud's denim is one of the most user-dependent fabrics out there IMO.

mate your pair look awesome as well! for one thing, the vintage wear pattern couple with the very slubby texture of the hemp version added to an interesting fade. i'm sure in another 6 months or so we'll a very unique vintage fade.
and yes i agree, the R400 denim is very user-dependent. all the R400 pairs I have seen so far have been very individualistic.

Hello fellas!

I searched everywhere but the white oxford shirt from RC S/S14 collection in size M is sold out ....

Is someone here who wants to sell me his shirt? :D
If so, pm me.

2nd pair of RC might be coming soon...smiley.gif
My waist size is 31 (79cm) and size 28 (80cm) should be just nice for me. I was thinking of don't soak it after purchase; wear it straight for the next 6 mths, then give it a cold soak.

But I might scare this idea will damage the fade...sad.gif
It is a must to give it a soak b4 wear.
Does my worries stand?

Thank for the advise.

It seem like a soak will be prefered to avoid shrinkage on the fade.

By the way, how a cold soak will shrink to like for example in percentage, as mention a hot soak will shrink abt 5%.

If you're going to cold soak it, make sure that every time it touches water it's cold. But I don't get why you wouldn't just get the size that will shrink to fit and hot soak it.

I wish to but the next available size is 29 (Waist 82), can it shrink to fit my size 31 (78cm) with hot soak??

Pickup a R400, give it a 1hr hot soak (water turn bronze color instead of indigo color) & 1hr cold soak (to clear the bronze color).

R400 stand upright/firmly

Comparison between R400 & IH-HY776 (base 666 cutting). IMHO, R400 is awesome with lot of detail.

Lastly, the Redline Selvedge for both R400 & IH-HY776

Compared RC and IH, which brand you favor more?
