Hey,

Thanks

Don't live in East New York or Brownsville - theyre both awful areas.

Check out Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Prosect Heights, Bay Ridge, Park Slope, Clinton Hill
any of those.

If you are thinking lower rent and bigger spaces check Bushwick or East Williamsburg (some may say this neighborhood does not exist, but it is on the map)

East Williamsburg WAS Bushwick before the hipsters moved in.

^it's alright. i used to live in the 20 block section of 5th avenue. the area is definitely comin up due to its promixmity to park slope. but certain parts are still sketchy, but not really dangerous. i never had any probs there.

try bedford stuyvesant, charming neighborhood. also, you'll love brownsville and east new york.

in queens, why not try south jamaica or queens village (a.k.a. shadyville)? also, the south bronx is supposed to be great for young french people moving to new york.

you don't need a friend who is a broker to figure that out. great neighborhood but NO TRAINS and lousy bus service.
