Bloc Party was 2k5 bruh, unless you mean the live album, which is just Silent Alarm.
Anywho I really have to second The Kooks. What an amazing album. Its been about a month and its hardly left my deck. I listen to it when I wake up, on the ride to work, on the ride home, and when I get home. The only other album that gets half as much play is Fishscale.

Just listened to that Kooks album, damn .. it's really good. Best shit I've heard in a while. Dunno how I've slept on that, do you guys use any sitess to keep you informed of music releases?
I grew up on hip-hop, and even though I don't listen to much of it anymore I still don't have many good sites/forums to keep up to date with new music releases, any suggestions would help

no, i noticed that. i'm sure his name would have been dropped regardless, though.
i just think it's sad that he got shit for killing pharcyde's and ATCQ's sound like a decade ago and then they jumped on him after he died.

Cult Of Luna, Somewhere Along The Highway.
Cult Of Luna has reached the same place as Neurosis and Isis. Metal Perfection. Their last, Salvation, was mind-numbing. This shatters what's left of the mind. How can anything be this good? You emo and post-rock and avant types should be able to love this.
I have to show some love for Mouth Of The Architect, Ties That Blind. Their second disc and they're coming on very strong.

Justin Timberlake is my favorite release of 06 thus far...this shit is like a modern day Purple Rain. If the album didn't have the rick rubin song and Pose it would be a cohesive masterpiece, the last two songs really mess it up. Timbaland took it to the next level and i don't miss the Neptunes at all on this.
