use a deodorant case, stuff the top with felt, fill with ink/paint, seal with wax. jacked that idea off a site i can't remember.

1) Buy a pilot marker, and gut that motha.

2) Take out the tip, filter, and empty the ink.

3) Fill the empty marker body with an ink of your choice: Krink, Pilot, Marsh, etc.

4) Take a chalk board eraser, rip a strip off and fold it into the pilot marker.

5) Wrap electrical tape around the nib and the marker body.

6) Tag your teacher in the face.

for the deodorant one, id use a sock instead of felt. its way easier.

also, for stealth shit, empty a chapstick container, melt some wax on the bottom to seal it, fill with marsh gravy, put a felt tip form a balckboard eraser in, or any fabric that ink can move thorugh. use once and chuck.

flawless.

Pretty much.

I use the Kiwi stuff that comes in a white bottle, it has a better shape compared to the new Kiwi shoe polish applicators.

Just empty out the stuff inside, rinse it out, fill it with Krink or your own homemade ink, and leave some drippy tags!

Some people like to remove the plastic piece that connects the nib to the container. I've noticed you can get drippier tags if you do that.

no, because caps off household products like starch have female caps, not male caps... they wont work with paint

take the stock cap out and cut the slit on the stem wider with a razor blade.
Cut it so it's about 3-4 times as wide. This that'll add some width to the spray.

thanks.

another question: what do artist use as stencils when their art is much larger than normal? like what material do they use as a stencil if the piece is 5 feet high?

if you are real hard up about getting them just snag em off ebay or something...

the deodorant stick marker is good... same as the instructions listed above... but you can simply just rack a chalk board eraser from school and use that to stuff the deodorant stick... i would recommend speed stick... the wider the better, IMO...

i've tried making everything and nothing works better than a ultrawide, fat uni, griffin mop or a refilled woodcraft marker. any of these others will pop off 2-3 tags before leaking all over your jacket/bag or running dry. use what you want though and looks good for your hand..

true, a store bought fat will paint cleaner and you can get them from tons of sites online.....

but, cutting a cap like i described will not blast paint everywhere. I've done it to many stocks in the past when i didnt have a fat as have others....

Mlproject is right though, dont bother making a marker order one or go to pearl paint.

even a magnum 44 would suffice if your not planning on using it outdoors. its kind of toy, but if your only doing a school project, your gravy. that was pretty much all i could get my hands on as a kid. until i learned to make something better and then discovered mops, the mag 44 was the holy grail.

if you're near a college bookstore or a good art supply store, i'd get a pilot. same large chisel nib as a magnum, but your shit won't fade in a month.

i tried looking, but theyre not as readily available in okinawa, and its especially hard since i dont speak japanese, so i cant ask around.

Get an empty bottle of Visine, take the cap off, cut off the triangular tip off the nozzle, stick a little piece of chalkboard eraser where the nozzle used to be, pop that top off, fill with your own Garvey/Marsh/Pilot etc. ink, put the top back on, now you have a thin controllable drippy ass marker.

I got a whole bunch of the same marker bodies that KR uses for the new Krink squeezer markers. Definitely one of the best markers I've ever used.

Fill them up with your own ink, and you've got an inexpensive, drippy marker.

yay chalkboard erasers make sweet nibs.

http://pic19.picturetrail.com/VOL1090/4065965/8956806/275691983.jpg
cd case and dvd case for cover, hotglue to seal and wrapped with electric tape then painters tape, chalkboard erasser nib. just remove nib to refill.

http://pic19.picturetrail.com/VOL1090/4065965/8956806/275691980.jpg
juice bottle with rolled up chalk board eraser for nib. (no it doesnt fall in)
axe body spray cap for cover.
super squeeze drip.

that shits just for destroying crap.. but more practical.. i turn to zig glue pens..
just empty glue out and wash.. then refill with whatever ink/krink/paint..

not quite as wide (i liked mini wides better anyway) but you can find these in more places.. arts and crafts stores, i've found them at joanns and beverlys.
2 dollar difference , but if you're into racking.. (which i havent done since i wised up.) it was no sweat in the yarn aisles..

The first two are really dope.

The CD case one reminds me of the old VHS tape + sock combo.

Not really into those valve paint markers. The only real markers I like are Pilots, Uni PX-30, and the Krink broadlines.
